Hello! We are a little Catholic family; my husband, myself and our son, George b. 2009 (not his real name, but the alias he picked) and our dog, Liberty (aka Libby).

I am a convert to Catholicism, but my husband is a lifelong Catholic. We married in our mid-to-late 30s, have dealt with some infertility problems, but we are still prayerfully hoping for more children.

We are using nick-namescuz that’s the way we want it, for now.

I was in the working world for many years, but when we got married we deiced that I would stay-at-home. And I wouldn’t have it any other way! I love being at home. And I adore being at home with George.

We live in New England, in a house that was built in the 1920s that is a work-in-progress. I might even post about how the house is coming along at times. We are also maple syrup producers frequently selling our syrup and sugar in different parts of the country, maybe at a farmer’s market near you!

What is this blog about? Being Catholic. Raising one child (unless God graces us with additional children, which we would LOVE). Homeschooling. Travel. Reviews of things we come across. And we hope you stay and read awhile, maybe even drop us a line at: admin AT simplecatholic.com

Thanks for stopping by!

God Bless!
